2015 Camaro SS 1LE > 2015 Mustang GT Perf. Pack (arguably, but yea)
2016 Camaro > 2015 Camaro SS 1LE
therefore, the choice is clear, unless you have a sizeable Ford discount or really want a fast 2dr Fusion ;)
but for real, buy whatever you want. there will always be some asshole saying UGHH THAT’S STUPID YOU SHOULD’VE BOUGHT [OTHER THING]
Also, unless I’m mistaken, I’ve been to the exact spot that picture was taken.

No conflict, take the Camaro

Mustang is not blue GT/CS so I no care.

I’ll have the Mustang GT pls

No conflict. The one on the right is what you want
![]() 10/05/2015 at 19:36 |

I’d take the Mustang.

Where is that?
And since I have no discounts or allegiance for the foreseeable future, I could swim either way.

Because...
![]() 10/05/2015 at 19:38 |

I’d have to drive them both to decide. I’ve driven neither.

Cause it doesn’t look like a toddler sat on a 2014 matchbox version of itself

Not that that’s a biased opinion or anything...

It doesn’t sound like Bubba’s Z71.
![]() 10/05/2015 at 19:41 |

I've driven one, but not how it sits in the above photo

Gib Camaro plz.
![]() 10/05/2015 at 19:45 |

Yea, yea, I know :P Oddly enough, I grew up in a Ford family and my father’s owned Mustangs of varying degrees of “old and beat” since I can remember. I was even planning on a ‘15 GT for myself but ended up picking the Camaro.

I believe she has said that she was a Mustang fan originally...

Wut?
![]() 10/05/2015 at 19:46 |

Ah, so the one where said toddler was asked to draw a picture of his aunts Fusion?

Camaro. Duh.

It looks like the Topanga Lookout Trailhead just before Stunt Rd. in Malibu:

Dat’ Lt1 gonna make the Coyote look like roadkill.

Anyone else notice the tanker truck in the background? I thought fuel economy was up?

But 2016+ GT/CS is best. Why? My grandfather had a 1968 GT/CS with the 390 and a 4 on the floor. Therefore, it is the best. As long as it’s blue.
![]() 10/05/2015 at 20:10 |

Cause it looks like the 2014 model but more squished
![]() 10/05/2015 at 20:10 |

Do you also think the accord Coupe looks like a s class coupe?
![]() 10/05/2015 at 20:47 |

Hmmmm...Havent seen an S class in person, so I dunno

I’m fairly certain that I’d love to own either one of them. Which one I’d like better, no idea.

Less plastic interior. You can actually see out of the car.
Throw the same size tires and same tier/grip level of tires on the mustang and it’s just as quick as the camaro. I don’t know why, but ford has never put a size equivical to the camaro going back to the 4th gen f-bodies.
1ss, 245 front, 275 rear.
Pirelli P Zero Max Performance Tires (Same as GT w/ Performance pack)
Mustang GT 235 all around,
Goodyear Eagle asymmetric all season (really ford?)
1LE 285 all around,
Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar G:2 Extreme Performance Tires
GT performance pack 255 front, 275 rear.
Pirelli P Zero Max Performance Tires (same as 1ss)
However, the 1Le does have much better suspension damping than the GT performance pack. But the 1Le comes with muuuuuch stickier tires. They’re in a different league.
Ford is willing to lose due to rubbers. Fail.

It really is. :p

I definitely think so too... a buddy of mine at GM engineering told me about some of the performance of the new 16M and I have a feeling that it’s gonna be the new hot ticket in the SCCA F-Street class.
I’ve been thinking of jumping into that class for
1) the diverse competition
2) the ridiulously soft PAX

Oh god the choices for a muscle car buyer today! 2015 Challenger? 2016 Camero? 2015 Mustang? How do you choose?! Really, I love all three in their own right

idk, the Camaro redesign does nothing for me. It honestly looks like a half-assed fan-made render turned real. It just doesn’t make a good impression on me.

Not that I am biased but the Camaro has gotten progressively uglier. The pinnacle was the ZL1. I’m pretty meh on the Mustang, but then I did prefer the retro look.

I have a 1SS on the way :D
Here’s some side by sides posted on the Camaro6 forum:

I have a 1SS on the way but will probably have buyers remorse if a 1LE shows up soon. Couple different versions of the 6th gen caught testing at the Nurburgring recently.
